    To solve the problem of LED heat sink , two aspects are mainly used . Before and after packaging , it can be understood as heat dissipation of LED chips and heat dissipation of LED light bulbs . The heat dissipation of LED chips is mainly related to the selection and process of substrates and circuits . This article does not elaborate . This article mainly introduces the heat dissipation of LED bulbs , because any LED will be made into a lamp , so the heat generated by the LED chip is always dispersed into the air through the shell of the lamp . If the heat is not good , because the heat capacity of the LED chip is very small , a little heat accumulation will cause the junction temperature of the chip to increase rapidly . If it works at a high temperature for a long time , its life will be shortened quickly . However , this heat must be able to actually guide the chip to the outside air . There are many ways to go . Specifically , the heat generated by the LED chip comes out of its metal heat sink and passes through the solder to the PCB of the aluminum substrate before passing through the heat conductive paste to the aluminum heat sink . Therefore , the heat dissipation of the LED hotel engineering lamps actually includes heat conduction and heat dissipation . However , depending on the size of the power and the place of use , the heat dissipation of the LED lamp housing may have different options . Now there are mainly the following cool methods : . Aluminum heats / heated sink fins : This is the most common way to dissipate heat . Use aluminum heat sink fins as part of the housing to increase the heat sink area . Thermal plastic shell : When the plastic shell are injected , it is filled with a thermal conductive material to increase the thermal conductivity and heat dissipation capacity of the plastic shell . Air-fluid mechanics heat dissipation : Air-fluid mechanics uses the shape of the lamp housing to create convection air , which is the lowest cost , enhanced heat dissipation method . The long-lived high-efficiency fan in the fan lamp shell enhances heat dissipation : the cost is low and the effect is good . However , changing the fan is more troublesome and it is not suitable for outdoor use . This kind of design is rare . Heat pipe heat dissipation technology : The heat pipe uses heat pipe technology to conduct heat from the LED chip to the shell heat sink fins . This is a common design for large fixtures such as street lights . Radiant heat treatment for / of the surface of the lamp shell does radiation heat treatment : The simple one is to apply radiation heat-dissipating paint , which can carry heat away from the surface of the lamp shell by radiation .
